At the typical Mazovian town of Lowicz, famous for folk art, you will be hosted for a traditional dinner at a local family.

Day 1

WARSAW

Welcome to Warsaw! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. During our first evening we will enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, with a Mazowsze folklore show and with typical Polish dishes and famous Polish vodka.

Day 2

WARSAW

In the morning we will venture to Warsaw’ s historic Old Town, rebuilt with love and dedication after World War Il and listed on UNESCO Heritage site.

Royal Castle, seat of Polish kings, where the Constitution of May 3rd was signed in1791,the second oldest Constitution after the US constitution will be a highlight of our morning tour.

After lunch at a local restaurant in the Old Town, continue your tour to the former Warsaw Ghetto. We visit the famous Warsaw café, “U Bliklego”, to taste a Polish doughnut, called “paczek”.In the afternoon enjoy a piano recital with the world famous compositions of Frederic Chopin. A glass of sparkling wine will be served during intermission.

Day 3

WARSAW – CZESTOCHOWA – AUSCHWITZ – ZAKOPANE

After breakfast, we’re hitting the road to Zakopane – one of the most popular holiday resorts in the Tatra Mountains.

On our way we will stop in Czestochowa, where we visit Jasna Gora Monastery and the Black Madonna Shrine, known as Poland’s holiest icon. There will also be a break for lunch at local polish restaurant.

Our journey this afternoon takes us also to the concentration camp at Auschwitz – UNESCO heritage. This evening we arrive to Zakopane , located in the Tatra Mountains. The evening is at your leisure.

Day 4

ZAKOPANE – CRACOW

The main Polish mountain resort is at your footsteps, let’s go and discover it. On our list to visit are: the Jaszczurowka Chapel, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima at Krzeptowki, which was built as a votive for saving the life of Pope John Paul II after the assassination attempt.

A cable car trip up to, one of the most beautiful places in the Tatras: Mt. Gubalowka, facing the amazing beauty of Zakopane will be our next attraction. There will also be enough time to walk down Krupowki Street to find some Polish traditional souvenirs.

The adventure part of the day is ahead of us. Take a raft trip down the Dunajec river gorge ( weather permitting) meandering along the Polish-Slovak border through the Pieniny National Park. No need to worry, the rafts are comfortable and safe. After that, continue to Cracow.

Day 5

CRACOW – WIELICZKA

A leisurely walk through the beautiful streets of Cracow this morning with our Local Specialist, showcases the Royal Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill. Visit the fascinating churches with different architectural styles, the world’s biggest wooden altar (carved by Wit Stwosz in 1477-1489), the legendary Wawel Castle, the Renaissance Cloth Hall and the Mariacki Church.

After lunch we will take a tour to the Wieliczka Salt Mines, one of the largest tourist attractions in Poland, registered on the UNESCO list. Visit Chapel of Saint Kinga, the oldest and the most attractive underground chapel, which is 101m underground. In the evening, enjoy dinner with a folklore show in restaurant located at Old Town.

Day 6

CRACOW – LOWICZ – WARSAW

We leave the medieval city of Cracow behind and start our journey towards Warsaw. On the way, we will stop in Lowicz, a typical Mazovian town famous for folk art. You will be invited for a home-hosted dinner by a local family. After dinner, we continue our drive to Warsaw.

Day 7

WARSAW

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for return flight home.
