Cycling through the Bialowieza National Park, UNESCO’s strictest original forest reserve, which has been established over 70 years ago. Watch out for wolves, moose, wild boars and bison, which is the symbol of the park.

Get ready for canoeing adventure on Narewka River and spoil yourself at wellness and spa complex in Bialowieza.

Day 1

WARSAW ARRIVAL – THE HOLY MOUNT OF GRABARKA

Individual arrival to Warsaw, meeting with the NT guide at 11 a.m. at the Warsaw Central Station, a guided city tour with a professional guide (about 2 hours). Bus transfer to Białowieża – on our way we visit the Holy Mount of Grabarka, a pilgrimage centre with the Orthodox monastery. Accommodation and dinner in ***Hotel Białowieski Conference, Wellness & SPA (www.hotel.bialowieza.pl) – it offers a fine regional cuisine e.g. dumplings and mushroom soup.

Day 2

EUROPE’S MOST PRESERVED “NATURAL JUNGLE”

30 km by bike, 6 km on foot

Together with a local guide we visit the forest museum and then take a walking tour through the UNESCO’s strictest original forest reserve (about 3 hours). The reserve has been established over 70 years ago and is a world famous UNESCO Nature Heritage. Then we ride to the park’s zoo where we can watch wolves, moose, wild boars and – above all – bisons. In the evening we are invited to a barbecue. Accommodation as on day one.

Day 3

CANOEING AND VISITING THE BEAVERS

25 km by bike, 3 km on foot, 40 km by bus

Through the Białowieski forest we cycle to Narewka. There we have our canoeing adventure. The river Narewka is calm and shallow, therefore, no additional skills are required on this beautiful paddling tour (ca. 2,5 hours). Afterwards we walk for 3 km and pay a visit to a forester where we get some refreshments and learn about his life, work and the realm of the beavers. At the end of the day a NT bus will take us back to Białowieża. Accommodation as on day two.

Day 4

WELLNESS AT THE ***HOTEL”BIALOWIESKI” 

Bicycle free day

This day is for your leisure. The biggest swimming and wellness complex in Białowieża awaits you. 1 SPA treatment is included in the trip price. Accommodation as on day three.

Optionally we can ride by bike to Belarus and explore the Belorussian part of the Białowieża Forest. The cost 30 Euro/person. Please, note us in advance.

Day 5

BIALYSTOK – THE CAPITAL OF NORTH EASTERN POLAND

25 km by bike, 95 km by bus 

In the morning we cycle for the last time through the Białowieski National Park and then a bus takes us to Białystok, the capital of the Podlasie region. During guided tour through this beautiful city we will see the most interesting places e.g. the Branicki Palace with its gardens and learn the fascinating history of the city where traces of the Polish, German and Russian Orthodox culture can be found. Bus transfer to the Narwiański National Park. Dinner and accommodation in a guest house in the Narwiański National Park.

Day 6

BIEBRZA NATIONAL PARK 

55 km by bike, 50 km by bus 

Early in the morning a punt trip on the Narew river. Afterwards we cycle to Tykocin where we visit one of the best preserved and most beautiful synagogues in Poland and then we continue through the Biebrza National Park. Watch for moose crossing the road! Late in the afternoon bus transfer to Ełk. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Ełk.

Day 7

GIZYCKO 

65 km by bike 

Today we have a nice cycling tour from Ełk to Giżycko. On our way along picturesque field and forest roads we will pass by some beautiful lakes. In Wydminy we will see an interesting church from the 17th century. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Giżycko.

Day 8

GIZYCKO – MASURIAN SUMMER CAPITAL 

Bicycle free day 

Today you have a choice: you can go on a beautiful bicycle trip (about 50 km) around the Masurian lakes or you can have leisure time. Dinner and accommodation as on day seven.

Day 9

THROUGH THE MASURIAN LAKE DISTRICT BY SHIP 

2.5 hours by ship, 25 km by bike, 20 km by bus 

Today we take a beautiful cruise on the Masurian lakes. During this beautiful cruise experience we will explore the district from the water and see the reserve of the cormorants on the Dobskie Lake. The cruise will end in Sztynort where the ruins of the former manor house of the East-Prussian family of Lehndorff can be seen. From Sztynort we cycle to Gierłoż. There we tour the famous “Wolf’s lair”– Adolf Hitler’s headquarters during World War II. Bus transfer to Reszel. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel in Reszel.

Day 10

KONCERT ORKIESTRY KOŚCIOŁA W MURZURII

40 km rowerem 

Dziś zaplanowano ładną, malowniczą wycieczkę rowerową wokół Reszla. W Świętej Lipce odwiedzamy barokowy kościół z XVII wieku i cieszymy się krótkim koncertem organowym w kościele. W Reszlu poświęcamy czas na zapoznanie się z miastem i wspięcie się na wieżę dawnego zamku biskupiego. Kolacja i zakwaterowanie jak w dniu dziewiątym.

Day 11

GOODBYE TO MASURIA 

230 km autobusem 

Po śniadaniu przejazd autobusem do Warszawy. Wycieczka kończy się na Dworcu Centralnym w Warszawie około godziny 14:00. Wyjazd indywidualny.
