Join us on a 10 Day Tour commemorating the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. This tour is the perfect choice for those interested in the history of World War II.

Follow a trail between Poland and Germany, listen to incredible stories and visit sites related to this tragic times.

Throughout this tour you will travel along the historical path and your discovery will begin in Warsaw, where more than 200,000 inhabitants were killed and almost all the monuments and buildings of the city were destroyed by the Nazis. You will also visit Cracow, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Dresden, Weimar, Nuremberg, Leipzig, Berlin, Poznan and Wroclaw.

Day 1

WARSAW

Upon arrival at Poland’s capital city, full of tragic history you will be transferred to the hotel.

In the afternoon visit The Tomb of an Unknown Solider, passing Grand Theatre of Opera and Ballet and continue the tour to Warsaw’ s UNESCO World heritage site Old Town, rebuilt with love and dedication after World War Il. Enjoy an inside visit to the Royal Castle, seat of Polish kings, admire gothic monuments and churches and visit Warsaw Ghetto area, including the site of the bunker on Mila Street, the place where the chief staff of the Jewish Combat Organization committed suicide and the monumental Memorial of the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto. 

Day 2

WARSAW – CRACOW

In the morning transfer to Oswiecim to see the largest death factory in the history of humanity. The preserved, authentic Memorial consists of two parts of the former concentration camp: Auschwitz I with permanent exhibition of the Main Camp, where you will see Block 11, the Wall of Death and Crematorium I. In Auschwitz II -Birkenau with the most important remaining camp objects: the site of the camp, residential barracks, the unloading ramp, the ruins of gas chambers and crematoria II and III.

Afterwards, continue to Cracow, for centuries the residence of Polish kings. In the afternoon visit the Old Jewish quarter and Oskar Schindler Factory, made famous in the Schindler List.

Day 3

WROCLAW

Start the day with a stroll through the beautiful streets of Cracow and its Main Square, Europe’s largest and most beautiful town square. Visit the legendary Wawel Castle, the Renaissance Cloth Hall and the Mariacki Church.

In the afternoon venture to Wroclaw to discover the majesty of the 14th century university, royal castles and the Market Square. Through the ages, this impressive city belonged to Bohemia, Austria, Prussia, Germany and after 1945 to Poland.

Day 4

DRESDEN

Cross the border into Germany the next morning for your full day tour of Dresden, former capital of Saxony, brought to the ground during World War II. Admire the Zwinger Palace courtyard architecture, the magnificent baroque Semper Opera and the newly rebuilt Frauenkirche.

Day 5

WEIMAR – NUREMBERG 

On your way to Nuremberg stop at Weimar, an important city for German in many ways politically and culturally. The excursion to Buchenwald at the site of the former concentration camp is also included.

In Nuremberg walk through the pedestrian area of the charming Old Town, known for children’s toys and gingerbread. Discover the impressive medieval ramparts: St Sebald Church and the Schoner Brunnen, a 14th century fountain dedicated to the Holy Roman Empire.

Day 6

LEIPZIG

In the morning visit the Memorial Nuremberg Trails and Courtroom 600, followed by the visit to the impressive documentation centre and Zeppelin Field.

After the lunch we will head towards Leipzig, another city heavily destroyed during World War II.

Day 7

BERLIN

Continue to Berlin, the capital of reunited Germany. As the capital of Hitler’s Germany, Berlin has many significant sites within the city limits, including Nazi bunkers, resistance monuments, anti-aircraft installations and the Synagogue in the former Jewish quarter.

Day 8

POZNAN

In the morning visit Sachsenhausen, one of the first Nazi concentration camps established during the war.

Afterwards cross Poland’s patchwork countryside to the charming city of Poznań – its Old Town Square a riot of colourful façades rebuilt after the devastation of World War II. View the Renaissance town hall and see the city’s impressive Gothic churches.

Day 9

WARSAW . 

In the morning you will head towards Warsaw, where you spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 10

WARSAW – DEPARTURE 

In the morning you will be transferred to the airport.
